Baltimore and Annapolis by Canaan Ng

During my 4 months in Philly, I decided not to go to Washington DC since I had been there with my family before when I was little. I decided to go to Baltimore and Annapolis, two cities I have never been. I only had one day in Baltimore and spent most of it at The National Aquarium. Saw lots of beautiful ocean life and even watched a few dolphin shows. I also observed lots of wild children in their natural habit with their anxious and loving parents following them around. After Baltimore, I was able to visit my friend's hometown, Annapolis. When she first told me where she was from, and I searched up the photos, I knew I wanted to go visit to see the fall colours. I am so glad I did make it there. Annapolis had a very colonial feel with all the red brick buildings and I was able to try some delicious Crab cake burgers.

Hi Allan! Mt. Allan Via Centennial Ridge by Canaan Ng

Last Saturday, despite the weather forecast saying 50% shower from 12-5pm, we decided to try this hike anyways. The south approach starting at the Ribbon Creek Day use area. The distance to Summit is about 7 km but the elevation gain is around 1400m. There is one additional summit at Olympic Summit before we hit the top of Mt. Allan. The clouds did roll in after we summited and we were able to hike down fast enough to avoid most of the rain. We got a little drizzle but we avoided the storm! Ended up getting sunburnt by the end of the hike. Started at 8:50am, Summited Mt.Allan by 1:30pm. Ate lunch and made it back to the car by 5:30pm. Solid day. :)

Here are some pictures from the hike. Taken with my Canon 5d mkIII, Gopro and my nexus 5 camera.
